How Valuable Is TRAFFIC?

Let’s have a look through this scenario:
You advertise an affiliate link on the Internet
Each sale earns you $20 in commission.
100 people click the link
1% buy (so that’s 1 person)
You earn $20
Your Earnings Per Click (‘EPC’) is $20 divided by 100 clicks = $0.20 earning per click.
If 2% buy (2 people out of 100 clicking your link) then you would earn $40, or $0.40 per click, on average.
If each sale earned you $40 in commission, in the above scenario you would earn $80, or $0.80 per click.
It is usual for affiliates to earn $0.25 to $1.00 per click, depending on the offer and the source of traffic.
What if you get 400 clicks per day, 2% buy, and you earn $30 per sale?
That’s 8 sales x $30 = $240 in a DAY, just for driving traffic to websites! 
(and by the way, $240 x 30 days = $7,200 per month)
The point that I am making here is that TRAFFIC = MONEY.
